The MPL-A540F-MJ24AA servo motor is an absolute multi-turn encode- enabled servo motor from the Allen-Bradley. It is part of the MPL series of brushless asynchronous servo motors from the Allen-Bradley. The servo motor uses a magnetic rotary mechanism. The motor is used where precise control and fast machine response is required. This low-inertia servo motor runs with a voltage rating of 200 Volts AC. The stainless-steel body of the servo motor is covered with a 165-millimeter frame. The rated running speed of the motor is 3000 rpm. Along with the circular bayonet facing the shaft, the servo motor has a magnetic stack length of 4 inches. The MPL-A540F-MJ24AA servo motor does not have a shaft seal by default. No shaft key is present in this servo motor. A holding brake is present in the servo motor. It uses the spring mechanism and it runs with 24 Volts DC voltage. This MPL servo motor comes with an IP 50 rated housing without the shaft seal. With a shaft seal, the servo motor becomes water resistant. The shaft seal creates an IP 66 protection rating.

The installation of the MPL-A540F-MJ24AA servo motor should be carried out in a clean environment with non-condensing humidity. The operating temperature range of the motor should be between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature of the motor should lie between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius.
