The MPL-B210V-EJ42AA servo motor is a permanent magnet type of servo motor. The MPL-B210V-EJ42AA permanent magnet servo motor has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley as a member of the MPL Servo Motors series. The MPL series servo motors are notable not only for their premium permanent magnet technology, but also for their low levels of inertia and high levels of efficiency. The MPL-B210V-EJ42AA servo motor comes with a shaft key, but no shaft seal. However, a shaft seal can be added to the servo motor’s shaft, and it should be added to the servo motor’s shaft if the motor will be exposed to fine dust or to liquids during operation. If a shaft seal is installed on the MPL-B210V-EJ42AA servo motor near the motor front bearing with lubricating oil and if environmentally sealed cable connectors are used, the servo motor will have an IP 66 protection rating, which is one of the highest available protection ratings.
