The Allen-Bradley MPL-B210V-HJ44AA servo motor uses factory designated control options by default and it has additional provisions for add-ons. An extra shaft seal can be added for extra protection against water sprays and splashes. Also, the new SpeedTec DIN connector enables servo motors from Allen-Bradley to have better efficiency and enhanced torque performance. The MPL-B210V-HJ44AA servo motor belongs to the MPL series of low-inertia brushless servo motors. It comes in a compact package and it is made up of different units that are easily available. The MPL-B210V-HJ44AA servo motor uses a 24 Volts DC brake for braking option. It is equipped with a 2000-line feedback encoder. It is an incremental feedback encoder and it uses 3 output signals. From the combination of these 3 signals, the servo motor can determine the position of the shaft and the direction of rotation.

The MPL-B210V-HJ44AA servo motor uses 400 Volts AC input voltage and it supports 3-phase electrical power sources. The rated speed of the servo motor is 8000 RPM and uses a magnetic stack length of 10. The motor has enhanced winding material which aids in better thermal management and heat transfer for higher levels of performance. The MPL-B210V-HJ44AA servo motor uses Smart Motor technology. It comes with onboard memory which helps in retaining the motor identity. Also, the communication link sends an identity report to the system when the device is started up and this reduces the commissioning time of the servo motor. The motor offers an enhanced torque performance of 0.55 N-m. The servo motor should be properly grounded before normal operation. The motor should be installed in a clean and dry place with no traces of EMC noise. EMC noise reduces the performance of the servo motor. A drip loop should be provided in each cable to carry liquids away from the connections of the motor. This increases the life of the servo motor.
