The MPL-B310P-HJ22AA servo motor is a powerful 460 Volts AC rated servo motor that is a part of Allen-Bradley’s MP series of servo motors. The motor is delivered with an IEC metric mounting flange in a 100-millimeter frame. The MPL-B310P-HJ22AA servo motor is a high-output, low-inertia servo motor developed with an innovative design to fulfill the challenging industrial machinery speed control requirements. It has an integrated 2000-line encoder that sends a feedback signal to a servo drive that forms the control signal for the servo motor. The feedback pulse signal received from the shaft-mounted encoder modifies the amount of current distributed from the servo drive control logic module to the controlled servo motor. In this way, when the motor requires more torque, it will be supplied with more current. If the users select the torque control mode on the servo drive, the servo motor will receive voltage that is appropriate to preserve a referenced speed and always deliver a specified torque.
The Allen-Bradley MPL-B310P-HJ22AA AC servo motor features a 1-inch magnet stack length, and it comes with a nominal motor speed of 5000 revolutions per minute. The ambient storage temperature range for this device is from -30 to 70 degrees Celsius, but during the operation process, this ambient temperature range is reduced to a range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. This servo motor transfers a lot of heat to the surrounding area, so it is advised to install devices that will help in cooling the air around the motor. Ensure that the MPL-B310P-HJ22AA servo motor is stored and installed in a non-corrosive environment in order to extend its life. The weight of the servo motor is approximated at 2.7 kilograms (5.8 pounds).
