The Allen-Bradley MPL-B320P-MJ24AA servo motor is a servo motor with standard control options rated for a peak speed of 5000 rpm. It belongs to the MP series of low-inertia synchronous AC motors. MP series servo motors are certified by CE and they are UL recognized components for all of the applicable CSA and UL standards. The MPL-B320P-MJ24AA servo motor comes without a shaft seal and it has the IP 50 environmental protection rating. When an optional shaft seal is installed on the motor and sealed cable connectors are used, the environmental rating becomes an IP 66 rating. The motor comes with a 24 Volts DC rated brake and a shaft key. The encoder on the motor is a 1024 sin/cos absolute multi turn-encoder which supports the hiperface protocol. An IEC metric type of mounting flange is provided on the motor. Type-FF holes on the mounting flange can be used to mount the motor.

The input specifications for the MPL-B320P-MJ24AA servo motor are an input voltage of 400 Volts AC. The power output specification is 1.5 kilowatts of power. The frame size of the motor is 100 millimeters while the magnet stack length is 50.8 millimeters. The MPL-B320P-MJ24AA servo motor should not be opened and modified beyond changing the connector orientation when necessary. Only repair centers that are authorized by Allen Bradley can properly service this motor. Care should be taken to avoid handling or lifting the motor by the shaft because doing so could lead to the loosening of the shaft cap, which could cause the motor to fall. To remove any device that is stuck to the shaft, a wheel puller should be used and sharp impacts on the shaft from any object should be avoided.
