The MP-series MPL-B330P-HJ22AA servo motor is a low-inertia AC servo motor with standard factory options. It is designed by Allen-Bradley for material handling, electronic assembly, and automotive applications. Allen-Bradley MP-series low-inertia motors are available with up to 8000 rpm of speed and 0.16 to 18.6 kilowatts of output power. With a rated maximum speed of 5000 RPM, the MPL-B330P-HJ22AA MP-series low-inertia motor is rated at 1.8 kilowatts of power output at 400 Volts AC input. It is compatible with several series of drives from Allen-Bradley including the Ultra 3000, Kinetix 6000, and Kinetix 7000 series of drives. By using feedback converters such as the Allen-Bradley 2198-K57CK-D15M feedback converter, the servo motor can also be used with Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5700 series drives. The MPL-B330P-HJ22AA servo motor does not come with a shaft seal and it has an environmental protection rating of IP 50. The installation of an optional shaft seal kit and environmentally sealed cable connectors can improve environmental rating and raise it to an IP 66 rating. A shaft key is provided on the motor.

An integrated motor brake is not provided on the MPL-B330P-HJ22AA servo motor. For mounting of the motor, the type FF mounting holes on the IEC metric flange can be used. For accurate feedback, Allen-Bradley has included a 2000 lines per revolution incremental encoder on the motor. Further motor specifications include a 100-millimeter frame size and a 76.2-millimeter magnet stack length. The peak stall torque of the motor is 11.1 N-m whereas the continuous stall torque of the motor is 4.18 N-m. The approximate motor weight is 10 pounds. The maximum radial loads on the motor shaft at 1000, 2000, and 5000 rpm are 27, 20, and 13 kilograms, respectively.
