The MPL-B330P-RJ74AA servo motor is a permanent magnet servo motor that operates with permanent magnet technology and low inertia. This servo motor comes from the MPL series by Allen-Bradley. This servo motor operates with a voltage rating of 400 Volts and a rated rotor speed of 5000 RPM. The MPL-B330P-RJ74AA servo motor has a compact size for easy installation and advanced windings that allow it to release heat faster and to reach higher amounts of torque than conventional servo motor models are capable of. The Allen-Bradley MPL-B330P-RJ74AA servo motor includes a circular DIN connector that is rotatable up to 180 degrees on either side. This servo motor can be installed in different environments as long as these environments are not corrosive and do not contain excessive heat.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-B330P-RJ74AA MPL series permanent magnet servo motor has an IP 50 rated enclosure and a shaft key for protection from common environmental hazards such as liquids and dust. For full device protection, an optional shaft seal can be added to raise the protection rating to IP 66. With a shaft seal, the servo motor will be able to operate in environments with high levels of dust and to withstand frequent contact with significant amounts of liquids. The Allen-Bradley MPL-B330P-RJ74AA servo motor life can be extended with a regular maintenance plan that includes the periodic inspection of the servo motor and all its components, including all of the connections of the servo motor and the replacement of the shaft seals. The shaft seal tends to wear out quickly and it must be replaced as quickly as possible when it shows signs of wear in order to protect the shaft fully.
