The MPL-B430P-MK22AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor, which is part of the MP series by Allen-Bradley. This servo motor is intended to operate in motion applications that require high-performance devices such as this one. This servo motor operates with a voltage class of 400 Volts AC and a rated speed of 5000 revolutions per minute. This drive has powerful features that enable it to comply with and meet any applicable standards. When it comes to feedback resources, the Allen-Bradley MPL-B430P-MK22AA low-inertia servo motor comes with a multi-turn high-resolution encoder that does not include a shaft key. This multi-turn high-resolution encoder is capable of providing a precise measurement of the degree of rotation, and at the same time, it can track the number of revolutions by using different words for each position and revolution. The MPL-B430P-MK22AA servo motor comes with a circular bayonet and standard factory options.

In order to protect the Allen-Bradley MPL-B430P-MK22AA low-inertia servo motor, it is fully recommended to provide a housing that can cover the whole motor and its connections in order to protect it from external physical threats. If the motor comes with a shaft, it should be replaced after no more than 12 months, but it is recommended to replace it every 3 months. This servo motor comes with a holding brake that requires a different power source in order to disengage it from the whole servo motor. This must be done so the brake can maintain the motor at 0 revolutions per minute in case there is a power outage. If the brake is used with the same power source as the motor, it is possible that the life of both of them will be shortened due to the repercussions that this brings. Other important features this servo motor have include a frame size of 115 millimeters and a magnetic stack length of 3.0 inches.
