The Allen-Bradley MPL-B430P-RJ22AA servo motor is a 400 Volts AC servo motor with standard options which belongs to the low-inertia MP series of servo motors. It is rated for a maximum speed of 5000 rpm. The use of high-energy rare-earth magnets on MP series motors leads to excellent performance. The power output of the MPL-B430P-RJ22AA servo motor is 2.2 kilowatts. The maximum shaft speed is also 5000 rpm. The specifications for the continuous and peak stall torque are 5.99 N-m and 19.8 N-m, respectively. The approximate drive weight is 12 pounds. An integrated motor brake is not available on the MPL-B430P-RJ22AA servo motor. Allen-Bradley does provide a 24 Volts DC holding brake with this servo motor, but one can be ordered separately, depending on application requirements. The optional motor brake weighs 16 pounds, has a peak backlash of 37 arc minutes, 10.2 N-m holding torque, and 0.57 to 0.70 Amps of coil current. A shaft key and shaft seal are also not available on this servo motor. Allen-Bradley provides optional shaft seal kits which are made from nitrile and which help to reduce wear and tear. A shaft seal improves the environmental rating of the motor from an IP 50 rating to an IP 66 rating.
