The MPL-B4530F-MJ72AA servo motor is a low-inertia Allen Bradley servo motor with standard control options. It belongs to MP series from Allen-Bradley which is available in 2 winding classes which are 200 Volts AC and 400 Volts AC. This series of AC motors is available with either incremental or resolver feedback options and with single-turn or multi-turn feedback. At a rated input of 400 Volts AC, the MPL-B4530F-MJ72AA servo motor delivers 2.1 kilowatts of output power and a maximum rated speed of 3000 rpm. The continuous and peak stall current ratings are 7 Amps and 21 Amps, respectively. The radial load force ratings are 133, 105, 84 and 73 kilograms at 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 rpm, respectively. The MPL-B4530F-MJ72AA servo motor comes with a 130 millimeters frame length and a 76.2-millimeter magnet stack length. A shaft seal and brake are not provided on the MPL-B4530F-MJ72AA servo motor.

Additional features on the MPL-B4530F-MJ72AA servo motor include a shaft key, a 180-degree rotatable circular DIN connector, a 1024 sin/cos absolute multi-turn encoder with the hiperface protocol, and an IEC metric flange. The recommended temperature range for servo motor operation is from 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The recommended temperature range for motor storage is from -22 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Allen-Bradley has several recommendations to help increase the operating life of the servo motor. These include installing the cables with a drip loop, the installation of shields on the cables for the protection of the motor housing and shaft seals, periodic inspection of shaft seals, and the replacement of faulty seals and damaged motors. The use of power transformers, line filters, and proper grounding will help to prevent the negative effects of electromagnetic interference.
