The MPL-B4530F-MK24AA MPL series servo motor is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is specifically designed to be used with Allen-Bradley Kinetix series servo drives. Compatible Kinetix servo drives include the Kinetix 5700, Kinetix 5500, Kinetix 5300, Kinetix 5100, Kinetix 6200/6500, Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 7000, and Kinetix 300/350 servo drives. This AC servo motor comes with a brushless rotor with rare-earth permanent magnets. The high torque output of this servo motor despite its compact frame size (130 millimeters) is one of its key features. The MPL-B4530F-MK24AA servo motor is a 400 Volts voltage class motor with innovative winding technology. The magnet stack length of the motor is 76.2 millimeters. The servo motor operates with 3000 revolutions per minute of rated rotor speed and it comes with a holding brake. The MPL-B4530F-MK24AA AC rotary servo motor has low inertia ratings, making it ideal for applications that require very high torque levels during rapid acceleration.

The feedback for the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4530F-MK24AA MPL series servo motor is available with a high-resolution absolute position Sin/Cos multi-turn encoder. The encoder supports the HIPERFACE protocol and the feedback from the motor is supplied to the servo drive via a bayonet-style connector on the motor. The connector faces the motor’s shaft. The motor comes with “smart motor technology” which helps retain the motor’s identity and allows for faster motor commissioning and optimization processes. The MPL-B4530F-MK24AA servo motor comes with a torque range of 8.25 to 20.3 N-m. The optional holding brake included in this servo motor provides additional protection to the rotor and it can sometimes function as a stopping brake, but this is not advised because this can damage the motor and the brake. An ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and a non-condensing ambient relative humidity level of up to 95 percent are required for the MPL-B4530F-MK24AA servo motor to function properly.
