The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4530K-MJ72AA servo motor is an AC servo motor. When mounting the servo motor, the cables should be routed properly to avoid the harmful effects of electromagnetic interference and to increase the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the servo motor. Some ways of increasing the EMC include using short wires, leaving a space of 0.3 meters between the cables for every 9 meters of cable length, grounding both ends of the encoder cable shield and twisting the signal wire pairs to help to prevent electromagnetic interference from other devices, and routing the serial, I/O, and encoder wiring separately from the input power wiring and the motor power wiring.

When mounting the servo motor, the connectors should be rotated into a fixed position.
