The MPL-B4530K-MK24AA servo motor is an MP series rotary servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its series belongs to the low-inertia servo motors category and it is equipped with standard factory designated options to meet the speed and torque requirements of motion systems in different applications like packaging, converting, material handling, electronic assembly, and automotive applications. It has a speed rating of 4000 revolutions per minute and a rotor inertia of 0.00040 kg-m2. The input voltage rating of this motor is 460 Volts AC, its continuous stall current is 11 Amps, and its continuous stall torque is rated 8.2 N-m. A 24 Volts DC spring-set holding brake comes with the MPL-B4530K-MK24AA servo motor. The brake can hold the motor at 0 rpm and it can withstand occasional use as a stopping brake. The power source for the brake is the motor controller so it does not require batteries to work.

The high-torque performance of the MPL-B4530K-MK24AA servo motor derives from its advanced winding technology and its faster acceleration rate is due the high-energy rare-earth magnets incorporated into its design. Pulleys or couplings can be used to connect the MPL-B4530K-MK24AA servo motor to the machine. Its frame size is 130 millimeters and it supports vertical and horizontal mounting orientation. This servo motor features circular bayonet connectors facing the motor shaft. The connectors have higher shock resistance and they allow for faster motor wiring. To minimize the effect of electromagnetic interference on the servo motor, AC line filters or isolation transformers can be connected to its line wiring.
