The MPL-B4560F-SK72AA servo motor is a low inertia servo motor that has been designed with innovative features that give it higher torque ratings than standard servo motors. This servo motor has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the MPL series of premium permanent magnet low-inertia servo motors. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4560F-SK72AA servo motor has an innovative winding design. Its windings can release heat faster than regular windings and they can also provide a torque level that is up to 40 percent higher than the torque ratings of conventional servo motors. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4560F-SK72AA servo motor is mostly used in applications that require a high level power in a small package such as electronics assembly, automotive industry, and material handling applications. This servo motor comes with a single-turn high-resolution encoder that provides precise motor position feedback.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4560F-SK72AA MPL series low inertia servo motor comes with a magnet stack length of 6 inches and it can deliver a rated rotor speed of 3000 RPM. This servo motor is in the 400 Volts voltage class in the MPL series. If advanced current monitoring is required by this servo motor, a holding brake can be added to the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4560F-SK72AA servo motor. If the brake is added, then the brake needs to have a separate power source so that it is powered independently of the servo motor. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPL-B4560F-SK72AA servo motor comes with a circular bayonet connector that is built facing the shaft of the motor. This servo motor does not include any shaft key or shaft seal, but these components can be added if the servo motor is at risk of coming in contact with liquids in its intended applications.
