The MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor is used as a positioning device and it is controlled through a pulse train. It is controlled by using an electrical signal which is either in analog or digital form. It determines the amount of movement and the final command position for the shaft of the motor that it controls. The MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor uses a feedback encoder as a sensor for providing speed and position feedback. This premium rotary magnet runs with 400 Volts AC of voltage. A multi-turn high-resolution encoder is present on the servo motor for real-time feedback purposes. It has a stainless steel body. No braking option is available in this servo motor. The MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor is manufactured with the circuitry built inside the motor housing which is fitted with the gear system. It can also operate with a variable speed motor. The running temperature range of the motor should remain between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. Other heat-producing devices should be kept away from the servo motor. The frame size of the servo motor is 165 millimeters with a magnetic stack length of 2 inches. The rated operating speed of the motor is 4000 rpm.

For connector purposes, the MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor uses a circular bayonet that faces the shaft. By default, no braking option is available in this servo motor. No electromagnetic interference or noise should be present near the installation area of the servo motor. Electromagnetic interference can cause poor motor performance by inducing stray signals that interfere with servo motor’s signals. The Allen-Bradley MP series servo motors like the MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor uses a mounting pilot for aligning the servo motor on the machine. The MPL-B520K-MK22AA servo motor connectors meet a wide range of safety codes and standard requirements including the UL, RoHS, DESINA, and the NPFA standards. The servo motor is widely used in food packaging, raw food handling, closing machinery, and food slicing applications.
