The MPL-B540K-MJ74AA servo motor may experience a breakdown and require regular repair or replacement. The MPL-B540K-MJ74AA servo motor should always be used in a clean environment in order to make sure that all the components work in unison to achieve optimal performance. Note that the MPL-B540K-MJ74AA servo motor should be protected from the contamination that can be caused by oil or cutting fluid and result in a devastating effect on the machine. This includes the unit's components and applications. In order to avoid servo motor contamination, use a shield to protect the motor housing and the shaft seals. In addition, ensure that a drip loop is provided in each cable that is connected to the servo motor. Ensure proper installation of the Allen-Bradley servo motor because improper installation results in frequent breakdowns. The installation environment requires proper ventilation in order to avoid overheating. An overheated servo motor results in unit damage with a possibility for component degradation.
