The Allen-Bradley MPL-B580F-SJ74AA servo motor is an AC servo motor from the Allen-Bradley MPL low-inertia series of servo motors. The MPL-B580F-SJ74AA servo motor and other servo motors in this product series are adjusted and designed for use with Allen-Bradley Kinetix and Ultra series servo drives that have the same power and torque ratings as they do. This 7.1 kilowatts rated device has features that make it durable, rugged, and applicable to various industrial applications. The motor is fitted with a 24 Volts DC brake, an IEC metric flange, specially-designed durable bearings, and with a single-turn high-resolution encoder.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-B580F-SJ74AA servo motor is IP 50 rated because it has no shaft seal. Shaft seals can be ordered separately to allow the device to adapt to more hostile working conditions. The housing of the servo motor is made of aluminum. Its shape is specially designed to contribute to the durability of the MPL-B580F-SJ74AA servo motor and to transmit the heat generated inside of the unit efficiently.
