The 3750 rpm-rated Allen-Bradley MPL-B580J-MJ74AA servo motor is a microprocessor-controller servo motor from the MPL series of low-inertia synchronous AC motors. It operates at an input voltage of 400 Volts AC and it delivers 7.9 kilowatts of output power. The motor comes with a standard IEC metric flange for mounting. Innovative winding technology on the MPL series servo motors like the MPL-B580J-MJ74AA servo motor provides up to 40% higher torque compared to traditional servo motors. Rare-earth magnets used in the servo motor’s construction lead to quicker acceleration. The smart motor technology includes onboard memory which retains the motor identity and the communications links report identity to the system upon startup, leading to reduced commissioning time.
