It is designed to be compact while delivering considerably higher power output and torque than standard servo motors. Its high torque to size ratio makes it ideal for demanding applications in high-performance motion control systems. The MPL-B580J-SK74AA servo motor has a brushless and low inertia design that uses premium permanent magnets to replace the older technology that is used in conventional brush-type servo motors. The frame size of the MPL-B580J-SK74AA low inertia servo motor is 165 millimeters, and the magnet stack length of the permanent magnets inside the motor is 8 inches. With innovative 460 Volts-rated windings, this servo motor is capable of 40 percent higher torque than standard servo motors are, and its improved insulation offers better thermal management, resulting in higher performance.
