The MPL-B640F-MJ22AA MPL series servo motor is a 3000 RPM, low-inertia servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Its brushless construction and rare-earth permanent magnet technology help it to achieve higher torque and faster acceleration than standard servo motors. When combined with Allen-Bradley Kinetix series servo drives, it can deliver the highest performance possible. The MPL-B640F-MJ22AA servo motor is compatible with various Kinetix drives, including the Kinetix 5700, 5500, 5300, 6200, 6000, 7000, 300/350, and 2000 series servo drives. The servo motor includes a shaft key that allows external mechanical elements to seamlessly connect with the servo motor, allowing for proper torque transmission. Additionally, this servo motor features circular bayonet-type connectors for the feedback and motor power supply connections. The MPL-B640F-MJ22AA servo motor features compact dimensions with a frame size of 215 millimeters. The enclosure has an IP 50 protection rating with the shaft facing up and without the use of an optional shaft seal.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-B640F-MJ22AA MPL series low inertia Kinetix AC servo motor supports an armature voltage rating of 460 Volts AC and it delivers a rated output power of 6.11 kilowatts. The motor does not come with an integral DC holding brake, and its rotor inertia rating is 0.004 kilograms per square meter. The motor weighs approximately 26.8 kilograms. This compact servo motor provides continuous and peak stall torque ratings of 36.7 and 72.3 N-m, respectively. The MPL-B640F-MJ22AA servo motor comes equipped with a multi-turn encoder that measures an absolute feedback value within 1024 revolutions. The encoder system does not require backup battery power due to its electromechanical design.
