The MPL-B660F-SJ74AA MPL series servo motor is an Allen-Bradley low inertia servo motor with a 215-millimeter frame size. It is an improved version of the standard Allen-Bradley servo motor. The MPL-B660F-SJ72AA servo motor comes with an integrated DC holding brake. A 24 Volts DC rated supply voltage source is required to release the integrated holding brake on this servo motor because the brake cannot use the motor’s power source. The brake coil requires a current rating between 1.91 and 2.19 Amps at the rated voltage. The MPL-B660F-SJ74AA servo motor has a rated rotor speed of 3000 RPM at maximum power. This servo motor provides 48 N-m of continuous torque and 101.1 N-m of peak stall torque. Since the MPL-B660F-SJ74AA servo motor comes with an integral 24 Volts DC brake, its brake rotor inertia is higher than the inertia of non-brake motors.
