This Allen Bradley 2000 rpm MP low inertia servo motor is a 265 mm frame size servo. In addition, this brushless servo motor can be connected by DIN style (circular) servo cable connections which are installed on this servo. Furthermore, this unit also is powered on with 230 AC. This low rotor inertia permanent magnet motor additionally has a shaft key, but no shaft seal built into the shaft. This AC motor is equipped with a multi-turn (hyperface protocol) encoder feedback, has no braking capability on the servo motor, and a stack length of 6 in.

It is low-inertia servo motor that is designed with premium permanent magnets which is part of the MPL series of servo motors whose main characteristics include low levels of rotor inertia, high torque to size ratio, and smart motor technology. The frame size of the MPL-B860D-MJ72AA servo motor is 265 millimeters and its magnet stack length is 152.4 millimeters. The weight of the motor is 40.4 kilograms. Its rated speed and power outputs are 2000 rpm and 9.3 kilowatts. The servo motor’s continuous stall torque rating is 62.8 N-m and the peak stall torque rating is 152.4 N-m. The MPL-B860D-MJ72AA servo motor does not include a motor brake. A shaft key, a circular DIN connector (180 degrees rotatable), and an IEC metric flange are provided on the motor. Additionally, a 1024 sin/cos absolute multi-turn encoder with support for the Hiperface protocol is also provided for feedback. The MPL-B860D-MJ72AA servo motor comes without a shaft seal. However, a shaft seal kit is available from Allen-Bradley and can be ordered separately if required. Because the cap on top of the motor shaft can come loose, the motor should not be lifted or handled by the motor shaft.
