The 1408-TR2A-ENT module is a voltage, current, and power transducer module. It is part of PowerMonitor 1000 series which includes power monitoring devices such as voltage and current transducers, kilowatt-hour submeters, energy and demand monitors, and energy, demand, and power monitors. The 1408-TR2A-ENT transducer module is designed to control the input power which can be AC or DC power. For DC power. the voltage range is from 125 to 250 Volts DC and for AC power, the input voltage range is 85 to 264 Volts AC (at 47 to 63 Hertz). The peak input power to the device can be 4 VA. The dielectric withstand rating for control power, voltage inputs, and current inputs on the 1408-TR2A-ENT module is 2500 Volts. During operation, the ambient temperature should be kept between –10 and 60 degrees Celsius.

The voltage sense inputs on the 1408-TR2A-ENT module are rated for 15 to 399 Volts line-neutral input and 26 to 691 Volts line-line input. The accuracy of the voltage measurement is ±0.05%. The voltage sense inputs have a minimum resistance of 5 megaohms and they are rated for a maximum of 2 milliamps of current input. The current sense inputs are rated for 0.05 to 10 Amps RMS with ±0.05% accuracy. The current sense inputs can withstand a maximum overload of 15 Amps continuous current. The resistance of the current input is 0.02 ohms, The maximum crest factor at 5 Amps is 30 and the burden is 0.05 Volts.  The unit can measure frequency in the 40 to 75 Hertz range with ±0.05 Hertz accuracy. Only qualified technicians should install the device while following all the relevant safety precautions and recommendations.
