|

The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA low-inertia servo motor has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the TLY and TL series of industrial servo motors. Its standard features include a 3-inch magnet stack, a multi-turn absolute encoder, and an IP 65 rated enclosure. The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA low-inertia servo motor also includes a built-in 24 Volts DC holding brake. This holding brake can keep the motor’s shaft at 0 RPM after the shaft has already come to a stop, but it should not be used to stop the shaft while it is spinning or as a safety or emergency device. The shaft of the TL-A2530P-BJ34AA low-inertia servo motor can rotate at up to 5000 RPM.

The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA Low-inertia Servo Motor by Allen-Bradley is an incredible solution for machine designers requiring a high-performance servo motor. It operates with a maximum voltage of 200 Volts and a speed rating of 5000 Revolutions Per Minute (RPM). It also comes with a 90-millimeter (or NEMA 34) Frame Size as well as a 30-millimeter magnet stack length. The motor, which belongs to Allen-Bradley’s TL series of low-inertia servo motors, has a rectangular connector plus a 17-bit serial or absolute encoder feedback. The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA’s IP65 rated enclosure incorporates a shaft key that provides additional protection. It safeguards the motor against dirt as well as against dust particles which may enter the motor and disrupt its functioning. Even more, the enclosure protects device connections and the operators. The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA’s shaft keys are fabricated with carbon steel, providing high quality, optimal efficiency, and unmatched reliability.

The TL-A2530P-BJ34AA features multi-turn high-resolution feedback and it controls high load-to-motor inertia ratios whilst maintaining a stable system. The onboard memory retains the motor’s identity and the serial communication spontaneously reports the identity. There is also an integral 24 Volts DC brake option and battery backup is available. It is important to avoid operating the TL-A2530P-BJ34AA in corrosive environments because this may result in severe device damage. The right temperature range at which users should operate this motor is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. And the recommended relative humidity rating varies from 20 to 85% without condensation in industrial settings where the TL-A2530P-BJ34AA is installed in. To maintain this temperature range, users should leave clearances while installing the motor. It is also advisable to utilize shielded cables and to ensure that these are grounded in order to prevent electromagnetic interference as well as high-voltage lines.  The low-inertia servo motor should always be properly aligned and positioned. The feedback, brake cables, and combined power should be carefully connected once the motor is mounted. Mounting the motor will minimize exposure to corrosive materials and liquids.
