The TL-A2540P-HJ34AA is an Allen-Bradley’s low-inertia servo motor that features a 200 Volts AC voltage rating. Its speed is rated at 5000 revolutions per minute (RPM) and it has a 90-millimeter frame size. The servo motor, which belongs to the TL Series, also comes with a magnet stack whose maximum length is 40. Available in a standard configuration, the TL-A2540P-HJ34AA offers high-performance and outstanding reliability. The TL-A2540P-HJ34AA servo motor leads with a 300-millimeter rectangular connector and it is housed in a standard IP65 enclosure with a shaft key. The motor is also equipped with a battery-backed incremental encoder feedback of 2000 lines per revolution. The module has a 24 Volts DC braking feature and its factory options are standard metric options. Before carrying out any installations, it is advisable to go through the manufacturer's instructions more carefully. Solid-state devices usually have operating characteristics that differ from electromechanical equipment, so pay attention to the details. Do not hit the shaft, pulleys, couplings, or keys with tools when installing or removing the device.
Note that this may cause serious damage to the motor and bearings. Connect the cables to a grounding system and make sure that they pass under the motor and create a drip loop. Low-inertia servo motors combine high-performance features to achieve accurate position, torque, and velocity control. The TL-A2540P-HJ34AA has a low rotating mass for rapid response. To attain the best performance, make sure to maintain the load inertia at 10 times the level of the motor inertia. Incorporate power and feedback cables to create a complete system. Features that are available are an optional 24 Volts DC spring-set holding brake and an integrated encoder as well as keyless drive shafts that support clamp-on coupling. Controlling motor functions can be difficult, but with the TL-A2540P-HJ34AA low-inertia motor, it is easy to achieve excellent torque, velocity, and position control.
