TLY-A110P-BJ64AA

|

The TLY-A110P-BJ64AA low-inertia servo motor is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation TLY and TL series low-inertia servo motor. It comes with circular connectors, an IP 65 rated protective enclosure, a multi-turn feedback encoder, a 1-inch magnet stack, a 24 Volts DC holding brake, and a shaft key, but no shaft seal. However, an optional shaft seal can be installed to protect the TLY-A110P-BJ64AA low-inertia servo motor from liquids and from dust and other particles. The holding brake in this motor has a very specific function. This brake should only be used to hold the TLY-A110P-BJ64AA low-inertia servo motor’s shaft at 0 RPM after the shaft has already stopped, and it should never be used to stop the spinning shaft or as a safety device.

The Allen Bradley TLY-A110P-BJ64AA is a servo motor with a rated speed of 5000 Revolutions Per Minute. The motor features a 24 Volt DC brake and a 39.4 inch lead with plastic connectors which are circular. The TLY-A110P-BJ64AA, despite its small size and low inertia qualities, provides high and reliable performance. The servo motor is part of the TL-series bulletin TLY which has a high-resolution absolute encoder. As with other servo motors in the bulletin TLY, the shaft and shaft key of the TLY-A110P-BJ64AA are made from carbon steel while its housing is manufactured from aluminum and potting compound. The TLY-A110P-BJ64AA has an operating temperature rating ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, a storage temperature ranging between -10 and 85 degrees Celsius, and a relative humidity of between 20 and 85 percent without condensation.

The TLY-A110P-BJ64AA is designed to be installed in an environment free from corrosive substances. The servo motor uses the 2090-KFBM6-00AA feedback connector kit and the 2090-KPBM6-16AA for the power connector kit. The TLY-A110P-BJ64AA has an operating voltage of 230 Volts AC. The housing for the servo motor has an IP65 rated enclosure and a battery-backed multi-turn absolute encoder. When installing the TLY-A110P-BJ64AA, sufficient clearance should be provided around the motor to avoid overheating. Cables should also be properly routed avoiding motor surfaces that are bound to reach high temperatures when the motor is in operation. Also, when installing the TLY-A110P-BJ64AA, avoid striking the motor shaft with tools since this can damage the motor bearings consequently inhibiting the performance of the motor. To prevent injuries to personnel and other equipment, the operating power must be connected after a successful installation of pulleys, belts, and more.
