The Allen-Bradley TLY-A220T-HJ62AA is a low inertia servo motor from the TLY compact servo motor product category. This servo motor is capable of Smart Motor Technology wherein motor identity is kept within the on-board memory and communication link identity is automatically recognized. In addition, this servo motor is compatible for use in a wide variety of servo drives that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley as well. The TLY-A220T-HJ62AA is a 200V class servo motor that comes with 70 mm (2.75 in.) or NEMA 23 frame category with a magnet stack length that measures 220 mm. It has a maximum rated speed of 6000 RPM and uses a high-resolution 2000 lines/revolution incremental encoder that acts as the motor’s position feedback device. The users should always mount the TLY-A220T-HJ62AA with the cable entry point located at the bottom of the motor’s enclosure and with a drip loop in every single cable to greatly minimizes the risk of moisture-related defects. It is not advisable to install the TLY-A220T-HJ62AA with the shaft pointing upward due to the risk of contaminant ingress from the contaminants that it will be exposed to. The users should not spray liquids that are under pressure directly on the junction of the Motor shaft, connectors, and housing, including the enclosure joints. Fluids subjected to pressure may be forced into worn-out seals and contaminate the motor bearings.
