The TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA is a Rockwell automation TL series low inertia servo motor. The TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA comes with a voltage of 200 Volts and features frame size NEMA 34 or the 90 millimeters frame size. The TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA also comes with the magnet stack length of 30 with a rated speed of 5000 RPM. The feedback type for the TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA is multiple turn 17-bit counts per revolution. This is the absolute battery backed encoder with the serial protocol. The TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA features IP65 enclosure or shaft key. It also comes with cables with circular connectors and features the standard metric as the factory option. The brake type for the TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA is 24 Volts DC.

For the TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA and other Low inertia servo motors, it is important noting that the holding brakes aren’t designed to stop the rotation of the motor shaft. In addition, the holding brakes aren’t a safety device but are designed to hold a motor shaft while it is at 0 revolutions per minute for the rated brake holding torque. When you disable the drive, it removes the potential for brake wear that occurs whenever there is a badly tuned servo system that is oscillating the shaft. The TLY-A2530P-BJ64AA connections that include the couplings and the pulleys require a torsionally rigid coupling or alternatively can use a reinforced timing belt. A high dynamic performance of the servo motor causes the couplings, the pulleys or the belts to become loose and end up slipping out after some time.
