The 2092-DA5 drive is an axis control servo drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the 2092 Ultra1500 digital servo drive series. This 3-phase servo drive has a supply voltage of 200 to 240 Volts AC at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz as well as a current rating of 15 Amps and a maximum inrush current rating of 200 Amps. The 2092-DA5 servo drive comes with approximate dimensions of 198 x 90 x 155 millimeters and a weight of about 2.1 kilograms or 4.6 pounds. It also has a continuous output current of 3.3 Amps, a peak output current of 8 Amps, and 50 ohms of internal shunt resistance. The input voltage between 2 input power pins must not exceed the drive rating, and this is why the transformer secondaries must be grounded. This servo drive and the 2092-DAxx device are restricted to 1 contactor cycle every 2 minutes.
The Allen-Bradley 2092-DA5 digital servo drive has a wide range of features and specifications, some of which are an internal shunt resistance of 30 Ohms, a continuous shunt power of 70 Watts, and an intermittent shunt power of 5 kilowatts. It operates under a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius with an operating shock of 15 G maximum and an operational vibration of 2.5 G at 5 to 500 Hertz. This drive is certified and listed for compliance with the UL, CE, and C-Tick standards. The 2092-DA5 servo drive has a typical heat loss run for approximately 1 and a half maximum power losses. It has a maximum power loss of 150 Watts plus the dissipative shunt, a 7.5-millimeter spacing pluggable cage-clamp, and an acceptable wire gauge range of 14 to 20 AWG.
