The Allen-Bradley VPL-A1001M-CJ12AS is a Kinetix VP Series Low Inertia Servo Motor. This is a permanent magnet excited synchronous servo motor with nominal speed rated at 6000 RPM. Â It comes in a compact, 100 millimeters sized frame made of aluminum for fast heat exchange. The VPL-A1001M-CJ12AS is characterized by good overload capability, ruggedness, and fast acceleration. It encompasses 18-bit absolute single-turn digital encoder that is able to use Hiperface DSL protocol. This encoder sends feedback to servo motor drive which can then calculate control signals to position motor in the perfect manner. The Allen-Bradley VPL-A1001M-CJ12AS has IEC metric free mounting holes. It delivers 1.29 kW (1.73 Horsepower) of power to the shaft.
