The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA servo motor is a brushless and low-inertia type of industrial servo motor that is designed with permanent magnet technology. It has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley as a member of the VPL series and for applications with Allen-Bradley Kineitx 5500 or Kinetix 5700 servo drives. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA brushless servo motor uses a single-turn absolute encoder for feedback during operation and it operates at 200 Volts AC. Its shaft can rotate at speeds of up to 4500 RPM. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA is a VPL low-inertia motor drive that is highly cost-effective and efficient for a high-performance motion system. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA is a low-inertia motor drive. It also incorporates an IEC mounting flange for easy mounting and installation. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA is a compact brushless motor. This makes the drive perfect for high-end motion control functions in factories. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA has a supply voltage rating of 240 Volts AC with 2 magnetic stacks. The rated speed of the VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA stands at 4500 RPM with the F winding. The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA is adaptable with a wide range of high-performance device operations The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA does not come with any holding brakes because it is a more basic model of motor drive.

The VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA supports a default IP88 factory-installed enclosure but other types of NEMA-approved open-type enclosures can also be installed during the device installation. For enhanced feedback, the VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA also features an 18-bit single-turn digital high-resolution encoder as well as a keyed shaft. It also has a SpeedTec right-angle DIN connector with a rotation flexibility of up to 325 degrees. Compared to previous AC drive models in the Allen-Bradley Powerflex 525 series, the VPL-A1002F-CJ12AA provides better and more flexible control over the motor functions, it is more reliable and provides more safety features.
