|

The VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA servo motor is a 400 Volts rated brushless servo motor from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation VPL Servo Motors series. Its shaft has a key but no shaft seal. However, an optional shaft seal can be installed on the VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA brushless servo motor’s shaft and this shaft seal along with environmentally sealed cable connectors will make the servo motor completely waterproof in applications that involve powerful water jets. The shaft of this servo motor can rotate at up to 6000 RPM. The VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA brushless servo motor is compatible with servo drives from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Kinetix 5500 and Kinetix 5700 series.

The VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA is a permanent magnet rotary servo motor which is manufactured by Allen-Bradley for low-inertia applications. The rated operating voltage of the motor is 400 Volts AC and the maximum rated speed of the motor is 6000 RPM. The VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA has a maximum frame size stack of 75 millimeters. There is an 18-bit absolute multi-turn encoder which has up to 4096 revolutions. Before the users install the motor, it is recommended for them to inspect the shipping packaging for any visual damage. To ensure a prolonged life for the VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA, it is advised to carry out the maintenance of the motor at regular intervals. The users must create a drip loop in the motor cable so that it carries liquids away from the connections that are made to the motor.

The use of shielded cables is recommended in order to prevent any interference from the adjacent environments and machines. The users can install line filters on all of the AC input power lines and they can isolate the power transformers to avoid noise. Users must not route the motor cables over any vent openings or over any servo drives. The users must perform the required inspections and all the functional tests that are mentioned by the manufacturer before handing over the equipment to the users. To prevent any damage to the equipment, it is recommended for the users not to remove any electrical connections to the motor and to any adjacent systems when the power to the system is turned on, and the users must make sure that there is no voltage present when removing the connections. The users can contact the manufacturer for any assistance regarding the VPL-B0752M-PJ12AA’s installation procedure or if they need any other information.
