Engineered by Allen-Bradley, the VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor is a VPL servo motor, and it is designed with a 100-millimeter bolt circle frame size. The unit features a motor power voltage rating of 480 Volts AC while the rated speed is the M winding speed at 6700 revolutions per minute. The VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor features a magnet stack length of 1 and the feedback encoder type is either an 18-bit single-turn or a 12-bit multiple turn resolution encoder. The VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor is designed as a keyless shaft extension, and it is a unit with no holding brake. It features the IEC metric mounting flange enclosure and it comes ready to use with the standard factory control options. This Allen-Bradley VPL servo motor comes with a high torque rating.

The Allen-Bradley low-inertia servo motors like the VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor feature a connector style that is built to integrate the braking option, the power, and the feedback signals into a single connector. If the VPL servo motor comes with a rotatable connector housing, it allows for the movement of the connector into a position that protects the connection from the environmental contaminants. The VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor has been designed to operate with the maximum radial or maximum axial shaft load. The radial load is usually applied in the middle of the shaft extension. The Allen-Bradley low-inertia servo motor is prone to electrical noise, so the users need to ensure that the potential noise sources are limited in the noise output to a specific level. The VPL-B1001M-PK12AA servo motor features a rugged design that provides a high level of immunity to noise.
