The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor from the VPL series that is compatible with servo drives from the Kinetix 5500 and 5700 series. It uses powerful permanent magnets to achieve its low inertia ratings. The VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA low-inertia servo motor can be installed horizontally or it can be installed vertically with the shaft pointing up or down. The motor will have the highest level of protection from dust and water if it is installed with the shaft pointing upwards, if the shaft is protected by a shaft seal, and if the motor cables are installed with environmentally sealed connectors and drip loops. The VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA low-inertia servo motor supports a rated voltage of 400 Volts and a rated rotation speed of 3500 RPM.

The VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA is a low-inertia servo motor from Rockwell Automation. The motor has a 2-magnet stack, a 100-millimeter bolt circle frame, and a keyed shaft. The VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA uses a Type M1 single speed Tec DIN and an absolute multi-turn feedback type with an 18-bit digital feedback resolution and a Hiperface DSL feedback protocol. The VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA has a speed of 3500 revolutions per minute. The operating voltage for the servo motor is 400 Volts AC. Additionally, the VPL-B1002E-PJ12AA has an output continuous torque rating of 3.39 N-m which capable of reaching a peak of 7.82 N-m.
