This shaft seal protects the shaft of the motor from water, dust, and other particles and liquids. The low-inertia VPL-B1153F-PJ14AS servo motor is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This rotary servo motor is part of the Kinetix VPL series that offers products that are compatible with servo drives from the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5500 and 5700 series. For example, the VPL-B1153F-PJ14AS servo motor combined with a Kinetix 5500 servo drive makes an excellent integrated motion system that operates through the EtherNet/IP communication network.
