The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor from the VPL Servo Motors series. It comes with 4 built-in permanent magnet stacks that allow it to operate at low inertia levels. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA low-inertia servo motor also comes with a built-in 24 Volts DC holding brake that can be used for holding the motor shaft at a standstill but not for stopping the shaft. The shaft also has a shaft key and no shaft seal, but it does not need a shaft seal unless it is used in applications that involve significant amounts of water or other fluids. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA low-inertia servo motor can operate safely at ambient temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius or 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA is an Allen-Bradley low-inertia servo motor that comes with a maximum voltage of 400 Volts. The module features a frame size of 130 millimeters and it comes with a motor rated speed of 2,500 revolutions per minute. The low-inertia servo motor comes with 4 magnet stacks and it features the 18-bit absolute multiple turn digital encoder or the Hiperface DSL protocol. The module has the shaft key shaft type with a single-speed TEC DIN connector and with a right angle 325 degrees rotatable connector. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA has the Type FF mounting method with free mounting holes or with the IEC metric mounting flange. The motor also features the standard factory option and comes with the 24 Volts DC brake.
The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA environmental rating calls for the IP50 enclosure at a minimum without the shaft seal, and it can also fit into the IP66 enclosure with an optional shaft seal and with the use of the environmentally sealed cable connectors.
