The VPL-B1304E-CJ12AA is a VPL series servo motor that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. a division of Rockwell Automation. The low-inertia servo motor comes with a maximum voltage of 400 Volts and it features 4 magnet stacks. The VPL-B1304E-CJ12AA comes with a frame size of 130 millimeters and it has a rated speed of 2500 revolutions per minute. The VPL-B1304E-CJ12AA features a feedback device that is either an 18-bit rated absolute multiple turn digital encoder or the Hiperface DSL protocol. The VPL-B1304E-CJ12AA also features the shaft key and it comes with a single-speed tec DIN connector that has the right angle and 325 degrees rotatable connector. The module features the IEC metric mounting device with free mounting holes or the Type FF mounting device. It is a standard motor with brakes rated at 24 Volts DC.

The VPL-B1304E-CJ12AA and various other low-inertia motors feature a single turn encoder or a multiple turn encoder. These motors also offer the keyed or the keyless and smooth shaft types, the shaft seal kits are available as replacement kits to enable easy field installation. These motors operate with a maximum radial or a maximum axial shaft load. The radial loads are used in the middle of the shaft extension. The connectors used on the Allen-Bradley low-inertia servo motors are designed to be rotated into a fixed position when the motor is being installed. These remain in the same position without making any further adjustments and note that applying excessive force on the motor can damage the connector.
