The Allen-Bradley 1440-VDRP06-00RH module is part of the XM module series by Allen-Bradley. This series includes distributed machine protection and conditioning devices. This module can operate in stand-alone applications or it can be integrated with PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and control system networks. This direct vibration module is an intelligent 6-channel monitor which is designed to monitor the real-time overall vibration levels. The 1440-VDRP06-00RH module monitors and then reports the general vibration level between the chosen low and high pass filters and the bias or gap voltage for every channel. This module can accept input and power from the IEPE (Integrated Electronic Piezo Electric) accelerometers. In addition to this, the module can also accept signals from standard eddy current probe systems, as well as voltage output measurement devices like pressure or velocity transducers. This makes the 1440-VDRP06-00RH module ideal for general machine protection and monitoring.

The Allen-Bradley 1440-VDRP06-00RH module provides a DC power supply to power a standard -24 Volts rated eddy current probe drive. In addition to this, the module also includes a buffer output for every input signal and it can connect to up to 2 Allen-Bradley XM-442 Expansion Relay modules. Thus, it provides a total number of 8 relays and it collects trend data depending on an event like a relay actuation. This direct vibration module comes with an external reset switch, which is found at the top of the 1440-VDRP06-00RH module. The switch is used to rest all the latched relays in the Expansion Relay module after it is connected to the 1440-VDRP06-00RH module.
