The Y-1003-1-H04AA brushless servo motor is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation brushless servo motor from the Y Series. It comes with a Size 1003 frame and with a 24 Volts DC rated holding brake. The purpose of the holding brake in the Y-1003-1-H04AA brushless servo motor is to hold the motor’s shaft still at 0 RPM until the motor reaches a specific torque level. This holding brake is not meant to be used to stop the shaft while it is rotating and attempting to use it in this manner can cause component damage. The Y-1003-1-H04AA brushless servo motor also operates with 2000 lines of standard encoder feedback and with 115 Volts AC of rated motor winding Ke designator voltage.

The Allen-Bradley Y-1003-1-H04AA is an electronically commutated brushless servo motor from Y series. This kind of the device is used for precise control of positions (angular or linear), velocity, and acceleration. This light industrial servo motor comes in smallest Y series frame with 115 Volt AC windings, an available 24 Volt DC break, and an encoder. The number of poles in this module is 8, and these motors are built with high energy magnets that provide low inertias for fast accelerations. The Y-1003-1-H04AA can work with speeds up to 4500 RPM and the device is protected with IP43. The optical encoder is integrated with differential line driver data (of a resolution of 2000 P/R) and commutation signals.
