The Allen-Bradley Y-2006-1-H04AA servo motor is a Y Series brushless servo motor with a built-in holding brake. This holding brake can hold the servo motor’s shaft at 0 RPM after it has stopped, but it cannot be used for stopping the shaft while it is rotating or as an emergency device. The Y-2006-1-H04AA servo motor is easy to mount in its host system because it comes with a mounting pilot that makes it easy to align the motor properly in the system. It has a Size 2006 frame and it is recommended to install it with fasteners that are made of stainless steel. The Y-2006-1-H04AA servo motor can operate at temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius and it can be stored at temperatures between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius.

The Y-2006-1-H04AA is a servo motor manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This servo motor is electronically commutated brushless type, Y series. It is intended for use in industrial applications requiring precise position control. The Y-2006-1-H04AA has the following features: 115V AC windings, standard IEC metric mounting dimensions, continuous torque 0.69 Nm (6.1 lb-in.), integrated optical encoder with differential 2,000-line driver data and commutation signal, high energy magnets, low inertia rotor, and magnetic release 24V DC holding brake (spring set). The Y-2006-1-H04AA has a  4500 RPM rated speed and 0.23 kW rated output power. The IP43 package protection comes as standard. To have a control over this servo motor positioning, the user will have to obtain a servo drive. Allen-Bradley recommends the pairing of this servo motor with one of the following drives: 2093-AM01, 2094-AM01, 1398-DDM-009, 1398-DDM-020, or 2098-DSD-010. The system and the servo motor shaft need to be joined together with a totally rigid connection. Axial misalignment should be minimized. Keep cabling length as short as possible.
