The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140G-G2E3-D16 circuit breaker is a G Frame circuit breaker that has an interrupting capacity of 25 Amps and a frame current rating of 125 Amps. The purpose of including this breaker in an industrial application is to protect the application in different ways. It can be used as a switch and as a feeder breaker. It can also protect equipment, circuits, and wirings. Short-circuit currents can cause different damages to equipment if they are not controlled or adressed in time. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140G-G2E3-D16 G Frame circuit breaker has a width of 3 inches, a height of 5.19 inches, and a depth of 2.75 inches. It includes 3 poles. This breaker has been designed to occupy as little space as possible and at the same time provide high interrupting capacities performed by 3 poles.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140G-G2E3-D16 G Frame circuit breaker comes equipped with different internal accessories. Some of these are auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, relays, and alarm contacts. Unlike fuses, this breaker is not limited to certain kinds of detections. This type of protection unit can be switched off and on after the fault that made it trip in the first place has been cleared. This breaker is more expensive than individual fuses, but its lifespan is superior, so replacement costs will be considerably lower overall. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 140G-G2E3-D16 G Frame circuit breaker is manufactured with moldings made of synthetic resins, metallic parts treated for anti-corrosion, and electronic circuits protected against condensation. This makes the breaker able to operate in hot and humid environments, but extreme temperatures might affect the breaker’s capacity to detect current through heat.
