The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker is a product of Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker is classified under the 140G series of Eaton Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breakers. The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) defines the 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker as a device that has been designed to open or close the circuit through non-automatic means, which opens the circuit automatically at the predetermined overcurrent levels. The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker features diagnostic LEDs. All the LEDs in the relay should come on under normal operating circumstances. The last-trip LED comes on whenever a trip has occurred. The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker comes with a current rating of 125 Amps. The interrupting rating is 100 kA and the unit comes with an H frame.

The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker provides overcurrent protection when it is used in an industrial control panel application. The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker also provides thermal protection for the control panel either through the use of the bimetallic heater elements as used in the overload relays or by using the electronics that simulate the operation of the heater element to provide adjustable overcurrent protection for the application. In addition, to provide the 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker with proper protection from environmental contaminants, ensure that installation is made in the recommended enclosure. When installing the unit, use a cable or an insulated busbar to perform the specific type test on the installation. The 140G-H0X3 circuit breaker should not be reverse wired above 480 Volts.
