The Allen-Bradley 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker is an H Frame molded-case circuit breaker. It is rated for 25 Amps of current and it is part of 140G product line, which is available in 9 frame sizes with current ratings of up to 3000 Amps. The number of poles on the 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker is 3and its weight is 2.65 pounds. The thermal/magnetic trip system on the breaker is fixed with a 400 Amps magnetic trip threshold and a 25 Amps thermal trip threshold. The dimensions of this H Frame circuit breaker are 82.5 x 90 x 130 millimeters (depth x width x height).  The rated mechanical life at 240 operations per hour is 25,000 hours. Allen-Bradley recommends the use of 75 degrees Celsius rated copper wire for circuit breaker terminations. The terminal lugs for the breaker need to be ordered separately.

The maximum recommended ambient working temperature for the 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker is 40 degrees Celsius. At 120 operations per hour, the rated electrical life is 8000 hours. The 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker complies with multiple international standards. For the IEC 60947-2 standard for DC voltages, the breaker is rated for 70 kiloamps of breaking capacity at 250 Volts DC and at 500 Volts DC. For the CSA 22.2 and UL 489 standards, the 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker is rated for an interrupting capacity of 150, 65, and 25 kiloamps at 240, 480, and 600 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. A minimum of 8 AWG copper wire is recommended for the earthing of the 140G-H6C3-C25 circuit breaker. The presence of high voltages and currents could cause equipment damage and lead to injury. Therefore, prior to installation and maintenance, the main electrical power should be disconnected. Furthermore, harmful contaminants should not be allowed to come into contact with the circuit breaker.
