The Allen-Bradley 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker is a circuit breaker with a 35 Amps current rating, a 35 Amps thermal trip rating, and a 400 Amps magnetic trip rating. The 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker belongs to the 140G molded circuit breaker family. Available in an H Frame enclosure, the 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker is a 3-pole breaker with an 8000-hour electrical life rating at 415 Volts AC and 120 operations per hour. The breaker can sustain a 40 degrees Celsius maximum ambient temperature before the performance starts to derate. The weight of the 3-pole breaker is 1.2 kilograms and its dimensions are 130 x 90 x 82.5 millimeters.

The rated mechanical life of the 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker at 240 operations per hour is 25,000 hours. Only copper wire with a temperature rating of at least 75 degrees Celsius should be used for breaker terminations. The 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker can be used with both AC and DC voltage. For AC voltage at 50 to 60 Hertz, the breaker is rated for 150, 65, and 25 kiloamps of interrupting capacity according to the UL 489 and CSA 22.2 standards. For AC voltages at 50 to 60 Hertz, the 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker is rated for 15, 65, 70, and 100 kiloamps of breaking capacity according to the IEC 60947.2 standards. A 1-inch copper braid or 8 AWG copper wire (minimum) should be used to ground the 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker. A suitable enclosure which ensures protection against contaminants should be used for mounting the 140G-H6C3-C35 circuit breaker. In the presence of extremely high voltages and currents, it is strongly recommended to shut off the system power supply before the installation of the breaker or maintenance begins.
