The 140G-H6X3 molded case circuit breaker by Allen-Bradley is a circuit breaker with an H Frame that is designed to provide short-circuit protection to a wide range of control panel applications. In addition to providing main circuit protection, circuit breakers in this series can also be used to provide isolation and short-circuit protection for both branch and feeder circuits in most industrial control applications. The 140G-H6X3 circuit breaker has a maximum breaker rating of 125 Amps (at a maximum frame size), and an interrupting rating of 65 kiloAmps at 415 Volts AC. According to the UL/CSA standards, this circuit breaker is designed for applications with a 600 Volts AC line voltage rating, and it has an impulse withstand voltage rating of 1000 Volts AC. The 140G-H6X3 circuit breaker has a maximum mechanical life of up to 24,000 operations and a rated electrical lifespan of up to 8000 operations.

The 140G-H6X3 circuit breaker is a 3-pole device with endcap/bolt-on terminals as a standard feature and it is supplied with 39-inch standard pig-tail wiring for connecting optional internal accessories. The 140G-H6X3 circuit breaker supports a wide range of user-fit internal accessories that are installed easily on the right-side pockets within the breaker with snap-in mounting provisions. Internal accessories like auxiliary/alarm contact, shunt trip, under-voltage release, and residual current release modules enhance the circuit breaker operation and connectivity with a programmable logic controller (PLC). The 140G-H6X3 circuit breaker has a 40 degrees Celsius ambient operating temperature limit, and it is rated 80% efficient for a continuous load at this temperature value. It supports flexible mounting configurations, and it is CE marked, UL listed, and CSA and CCC certified.
