The Allen-Bradley 140G-J2F3-D15 circuit breaker is an adjustable thermal adjustable magnetic molded case circuit breaker. Its operating voltage is rated at 600 Volts AC and it has 3 poles. The 140G-J2F3-D15 circuit breaker contains a non-interchangeable trip unit that supports long-time and instantaneous trip functions. This circuit breaker uses a molded case for protection. A molded case is advantageous since it provides insulation to the internal components of the circuit breaker. The 140G-J2F3-D15 circuit breaker, like other J Frame circuit breakers, supports a bus bar with a minimum width of 0.669 inches, a maximum width of 0.984 inches, a minimum thickness of 0.197 inches, a maximum thickness of 0.315 inches, and a terminal hole with a diameter of 0.335 inches and a hole center of 0.37 inches. Note that the bus bar accommodates a terminal torque of 8 N-m. The Allen-Bradley 140G-J2F3-D15 circuit breaker has an interrupting capacity of 25 kiloAmps at 480 Volts AC and it supports bolt-on connections. Even though this breaker uses a molded case, regular supervision should be carried out to prevent dangerous conditions such as loose terminals.
