About 140G-K-FCS06
The Allen-Bradley 140G-K-FCS06 Cable Operator is a flange-mounted cable operator with a stainless steel handle that is Type 4/4X for use in NEMA-style flange enclosures. Applications that require the quick operation of an MCCB or Molded Case Circuit Breaker from without opening the enclosure that contains it are the ideal applications for the installation and use of this accessory. The Allen-Bradley 140G-K-FCS06 Cable Operator comes as a pre-assembled accessory for the J-Frame product line of the Allen-Bradley 140G Molded Case Circuit Breakers and Molded Cases Switches. It comes with the MCCB operator, the cable required to connect the external and internal assemblies, and all the necessary hardware to enable the users to activate or deactivate the K-flange 140G MCCB from outside the panel board and without opening the enclosure door.
There is no need for complicated and messy operating rods in panel boards with the Allen-Bradley 140G-K-FCS06 Flange-Mounted Cable Operator. To ensure the safe installation of the cable operator, always remember to disconnect, lock, and tag all the power sources to the MCCBs before servicing or installing the cable operator. The breaker that will receive the actuator should be installed in a suitable enclosure, in a dry and dust-free environment. To install the Allen-Bradley 140G-K-FCS06 Flange-mounted Cable Operator, make sure the breaker is switched OFF in order to fit actuator to the lever in the breaker. The next step is installing the operating stainless steel handle in the panel door and linking the remote actuator that is already placed on the breaker with the handle by using the operation cable provided. Once the mounting procedure is complete, the users will hear a click sound in the breaker when arming and disarming the circuit.
