The Allen-Bradley 140U-D6D3-C15 is a molded case circuit breaker. This circuit breaker is recommended by Allen-Bradley for use in Feeder Circuits such as small cabinets, distribution panels, branch circuit protections of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Servo Motor drives and Motors; Transformers and heaters. It is also applicable in control circuits for isolation of control transformers and power supplies. It is also compatible in Heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HACR) applications. This circuit breaker has high switching duty rated between 15 & 20 A and high-intensity-discharge of 0.5 - 25 A.

The 140U-D6D3-C15 is a 3-pole breaker ideally used in 3-Phase applications. Being part of the 140U-D breaker series, the 140U-D6D3-C15 has an inherent current limiting feature, enabling short-circuit and overcurrent protection with high-interrupt ratings. This breaker is certified UL489 breaker and built with compact, small footprint assembly.

The breaker’s interrupting frequency on the other hand is 65 kA for 240VAC; 65 kA for 480Y / 277V and 25 kA for 600Y / 347V.
