The Allen-Bradley 140U-H6S3-D12-A Molded Circuit Switch is a high-performance circuit switch that is built to provide thermal overload protection and short-circuit protection in a wide range of control panel applications. Circuit breakers and switches in the bulletin 140U family feature a smaller footprint in control applications than other breakers and switches, and they also offer a higher interrupting rating than conventional circuit breakers and switches in their class.  The 140U-H6S3-D12-A Molded Circuit Switch is ideal for the feeder circuit applications, control circuits applications, HACR (Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) applications, switching duty applications, and the high-intensity discharge applications.

The 140U-H6S3-D12-A Molded Circuit Switch has a 3-phase voltage rating of 480 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz and a nominal current rating of 125 Amps. This molded case switch has a maximum interrupting rating of 65 kA at 480 Volts AC and 660 Volts DC and a rated operating voltage range of 230 to 690 Volts AC. The 140U-H6S3-D12-A Molded Circuit Switch has an insulated voltage rating of 750 Volts AC and a rated impulse voltage withstand of 6 Kilo-Volts. It comes with one factory-installed auxiliary contact with a 690 Volts AC insulation voltage rating and 4000 Volts impulse voltage rating. The 140U-H6S3-D12-A Molded Circuit Switch, like all 140U devices, is 100% efficient at up to 40 degrees Celsius and it is 86% efficient at 70 degrees Celsius. It comes with standard end cap steel terminal with line and load side ends, and a steel-type standard box lugs with terminal fastener torque of 10 pounds on an inch.
