It is suitable for applications in control panel protection. It conforms with international standards such as the UL489, CSA22.2 (No.5), and the IEC 60947-2 standards with various certifications including the CCC, UL Listed, CE Marked, and CSA Certifications. The Allen-Bradley 140U-I3C3-C20 Circuit Breaker is an I-Frame circuit breaker that has a mechanical lifespan of 25,000 operations total or 240 operations per hour and an electrical life of 8000 number of operations or 120 operations per hour at 415 Volts AC.

The 140U-I3C3-C20 Molded Case Circuit Breaker is assembled in a supporting case that includes the circuit breaker, operator, optional external accessories, and optional internal accessories.
